To love is to grieve, and often that grief has a way of cracking us wide open. We feel vulnerable in our loss, exposed inside the emptiness so easily felt. Many of us do not have someone with whom we may talk, or we feel like we don’t want to burden them with the weight of our pain and sadness. Here, in this space, we sit beside each other in our grief.

Once a month, we gather virtually to make room for grief as it is. There is no expectation that you arrive with the right words, or that you share more than you want to. You may come to talk, to listen, to cry, to remember, or simply to be in the company of others who understand something about loss.

Beside You in Grief is a small, gently facilitated support group centered on conversation, reflection, and connection. We are not here to move one another through grief or toward a particular place. We gather to make room for what is present and to remind one another that grief does not have to be carried alone.

The group meets virtually once each month for 60 minutes. Each gathering stands on its own, so there is no ongoing commitment required.

Sometimes we are simply going through a difficult time. It may be a diagnosis, a relationship change, caregiving, uncertainty, or another life event or transition where we could use some support. For those times, we offer Beside You Through It.
